Waterloo Elementary Edcamp ~ April 17th
Hello. The April 17th SIP day we will be holding an Elementary Edcamp. I have created this page to be an introduction to the idea of Edcamp and quickly show you what to expect from our event. Edcamps are a different type of professional development. They are solely based on the conversations of the participants, the better the conversation, the better the experience.
There are a few short videos a to help you understand what we will be doing and how the afternoon will work. Please take a minute to watch and reflect on the videos.
After the videos I have embedded a Padlet. (a digital whiteboard...How could you use Padlet and chomebooks in your class?) The idea of the Padlet is a place that we can start brainstorming on the type of sessions or topics that you are interested in talking about on the SIP day. Your participation on the Padlet is totally anonymous.

Remember Edcamps are for discussing teaching and student learning. This is not the forum for venting and complaining about building or district issues.
