I will admit, I was the first one to think that twitter was just another giant waste of time. I made fun of people who tweeted and didn’t understand why anyone would want to follow Justices Bever and need to know every little insignificant thought or action he had. However, that was before I discovered the educational aspects of twitter. It has quickly become my number one spot for instant professional development. Twitter has opened a whole new world for me that changes the way I view professional development. No longer is PD something that has a lengthy commitment. It is something that I can do on my walk from Rogers to Gardner. Twitter has changed the way that I find out information in education as well as become my own personal learning network. It is quick and easy to get started and something that you will not regret.
